Voting for the European Parliament as a non-Dutch EU citizen
If you live in the Netherlands but are a citizen of another EU country, you can either vote in your country of origin or in the Netherlands. If you choose to vote in the Netherlands, you must notify your Dutch municipality by submitting the Y 32 form.
Who you can vote for
If you choose to vote in the Netherlands, you will be voting for the Dutch representatives in the European Parliament. If you vote in your EU country of origin, you will be voting for the representatives of that country.
Y 32 form
You must inform your Dutch gemeente (municipality) by completing the Y 32 form if you choose to vote in the Netherlands. There are 2 ways to submit the form.
Online
Complete and submit the form online. Online registration is quick, secure and easy.
