Loading and unloading

The times for loading and unloading in the city center are 'going back to normal'. This means that from Monday 18 May loading and unloading is only allowed between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m. This is because it is getting busier in the center now that the corona measures have been relaxed. Due to the coronavirus crisis, the allowed delivery times for loading and unloading in the city centre were cancelled.

Pedestrian area

The pedestrian area in the centre of Maastricht is closed off to cars and trucks by bollards at certain times. Between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m. (the allowed delivery times), these bollards will descend. You can then load and unload in the city centre.

Loading and unloading outside allowed delivery times

Outside the allowed delivery times, you can load and unload in the city centre only with an exemption. First check the extra instructions and rules for loading and unloading in the evening or at night. If you can meet these requirements and demonstrate that with an acoustic substantiation, you may be able to obtain an exemption.
