My name is Marion and I work for the government in my daily life. My dream has always been to marry couples who want to reaffirm their love for each other through marriage or a civil partnership. In 2017 I was allowed to perform a marriage for the first time. I married my friends at home in their own living room. It made me feel so energised and excited that I decided to apply for the position of official wedding celebrant. Since 2018 I have been working as a wedding celebrant.

I've already performed many marriages. With my passion for my job, I want to turn your wedding or civil partnership ceremony into one of the most beautiful moments of your life.

I was born in Maastricht and have lived in the beautiful Heuvelland for a long time. I always say that every place has its charm, but Maastricht is the best place to get married.

Your wedding is sure to be stunning in Maastricht, a municipality where you are allowed to get married anywhere you want. You and your partner get to choose the venue – doesn’t that make your wedding extra special? I hope to be able to contribute something great to your wedding and add a personal touch.

I will pay full attention to family, friends and witnesses in my speech. If you have children, I would be happy to include them in the ceremony. Do you want to play music, exchange wedding vows, have someone recite a poem or song or have someone bear the rings? We can discuss everything during the introductory meeting.
