Recycling centres
You can take your waste to one of Maastricht's 3 milieuparken (recycling centres). Payments can only be made by debit card. Below, you will find the opening hours for each recycling centre. All 3 centres are closed on public holidays and during Carnival Monday and Tuesday. On 24 and 31 December, the centres close at 16.00. Waste can be dropped off up to 15 minutes before closing time.

Beatrixhaven recycling centre

Asbestos disposal
Asbestos can only be disposed of at the Beatrixhaven recycling centre under strict conditions. Asbestos must be double-wrapped in strong plastic sheeting (minimum 0.2 mm thick), which can be purchased from DIY shops, hardware shops and agricultural suppliers.
Randwyck recycling centre

Het Rondeel recycling centre

Payment by volume
From 1 January 2025, waste at the Het Rondeel Recycling Centre will no longer be weighed. Instead, you will pay per cubic metre (m³) for residual and bulky household waste. The same waste acceptance rules will apply across all recycling centres.

- Bring your valid milieupas (waste disposal pass) and identification.
- Payments must be made by debit card.
- Waste must come from your own household (address on the waste disposal pass).
- Commercial waste is not accepted. Please contact a commercial waste company.
- Vehicles over 3,500 kg, business vehicles and tractors are not allowed.
